Pastor/Director of Family Ministry
We are looking for a man who desires to minister at a healthy church.
Summary of the Position
We're looking for a man who can be a trustworthy champion of Tammany View’s culture that values love for God’s Word, worship for all, and family.
He is responsible for the direction, coordination, and administration of our family ministry (children, students, young adults, as well as adult Sunday school) in collaboration with the Senior Pastor. Additionally, he oversees the church’s strategic projects. Division of full time role responsibilities will be approximately 80% Family Ministry and 20% Projects.

Qualifications
Lives a lifestyle of worship fully devoted to the Lord, that is beyond reproach ,according to biblical guidelines (1 Tim 3:1-8).
Devoted to prayer and fully affirms the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
Has demonstrated a record of humble leadership in the local church.
Stewards his family well by placing them as first ministry priority.
Stewards his time well, managing all assigned priorities with excellence.
Stewards his finances well with consistent practice of biblical tithing and budgeting.
Practices a willingness to grow personally and professionally.
Desires to work at a healthy church and help us keep it healthy.
Responsibilities & Priorities
His main priority is shepherding the leaders and teachers of children, student, and young adult ministries, as well as coordinating adult Sunday school teachers. This includes:
- Lead, equip, and support ministry leaders and teachers.
- Develop and/or coordinate curriculum across all groups.
- Support parents through partnership, training, and resources.
- Develop systems and track leader development.
- Plan and direct special experiences for students, such as camps, retreats, mission trips, fellowship and ministry projects.
- Provide supervision and oversight of family ministry budgets.
The secondary priority, in collaboration with the Senior Pastor, is identify and administer strategic projects to strengthen the Church.
